Saint Andrews Gets Bit by Dracula

A rarely tackled theme, a late 15th Century Romanian event!
With Hungarian aggressors in the North, the Ottoman Empire attacking from the south and a standing army of less than 30,000, only a legend as fearsome as Vlad Basarab III, also known as Vlad the Impaler, could keep a nation from certain demise. Join the Barony of An Dubhaigeainn as we separate fact from fiction about the man who became known to the world as Dracula. This event is PG-13 for blood, gore, and graphic descriptions.
The reigning Baronial Champion, Juan Paco Sánchez will complete his term and craft a tourney to determine his successor.
There will be an all two-handed weapons tourney as well as every-man-for-himself matches.
In addition, archers will face a moving target and light list can enjoy challenges of their sabers.
A period documented Romanian feast shall follow a court inspired by a painting of Vlad receiving the Ottoman emissary.
The site is wet - as such- a tablero board should and will be present.
